Just wanted to lend a review to a neighborly spot in the heart of PA. I thought this place was just ice cream by their name, thankfully, it's not! I found out it serves breakfast and lunch! They serve BIG sandwiches. The first time I got a turkey BLTA. There were 12 layers of turkey that I had to take it out because it was so big! Still a great sandwich. I also have had the chipotle chicken that I will share forever because it's big enough to split. Their macaroni and potato salad are great too. You can find them in the fridge to the left - the potato salad had too much of the rest of the things than potato but I may have just picked the wrong container. This place is great! Lots of seating outside or across the street. Food comes quick and you get to have a bite that doesn't hurt the wallet! :)

Easily one of the best ice creams I have ever had. It's like an old fashioned style ice cream. You could tell that the texture is rich and creamy. This is good old style churned ice cream. Amazing flavor. Sweet and it tastes like Vanilla. The vanilla reminds me of Marianne's Ice Cream's Old Tyme Vanilla flavor. I don't have to go to Santa Cruz now. This place is an option. It's good to know I have both. The scoop of the ice cream is beautiful. Perfect presentation. The workers here are amazing. Perhaps it's the scooper they have too. Truly professionals at scooping ice cream. A beautifully scooped ice cream cones makes the experience so much better. I really like the old school diner and soda fountain shop vibe in the place. Very cozy and comforting. One of my favorite shops. It's like taking a trip back in time.

Nice place downtown to meet for lunch. And the menu has been updated and improved since I was here last. I like gluten free bread and theirs is excellent. Turkey club, chicken salad, and other choices, all seem excellent. Salads are large and include mixed greens, and big ripe tomatoes. Sit outside if the weather is nice and watch Palo Alto's finest stroll by.

Peninsual Creamery Dairy Store is an old school diner serving variety of breakfast, lunch, and dairy treats since 1936. Walking inside is a little like going back in time with its glowing neon sign, old-stye diner seating, and stainless steel backsplashes behind the counter. Nothing about the food is old though! Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with care. I stopped in for lunch and ordered a mushroom burger and macaroni salad. The mushroom burger was hot, tasty, and filled with fresh crunchy produce. It was a tasty and very filling, but the macaroni salad really stood out. It was filled with large firm noodles, mayonnaise, gree pepper, celery, parsley, eggs, carrots, sweet relish, onion, celery salt, and mustard. I think you can see from all the ingredients, they put a lot of effort into the dish. It was much better than anything I've had in recent memory. They also offer a variety of pies, ice cream, shakes, and sudaes for a cool treat during those hold palo alto summers. Well, after ordering I made a quick detour to the restroom, and my food was ready by the time I got back. That was during a fairly busy lunch period, so the staff was working hard to get those orders out. They also keep the restaurant clean, shelves stocked, and well organized. If you're reading this, I hope you already there, or on your way. It's a fun place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon treat!
